PMC Jewelry, precious metal clay and dichroic glass

I am Leikyn Huckins, a certified PMC instructor and the owner of Totally Fired Designs. I began my career in the work force as an Occupational Therapist. I chose to be a therapist because it allowed me to be creative and incorporate my love for arts and crafts while helping others. I love to create and work with my hands. As fate would have it, in 1999, I became pregnant and decided to leave my job as an Occupational Therapist to be a stay at home mom to our four boys. Soon after, we had another additon to our family (finally a little girl). Although being a mom was and is the best job I could ever have, I craved something more. Something just for me to be creative and inspired. I began this adventure as a glass artist, making beautiful dichroic fused glass gemstones. I loved the beauty of the glass, but still something was missing.
That is when I found precious metal clay; a form of clay, that when fired, turns into pure silver. This was the

perfect marriage for my glass. All of my designs incorporate at least one element that is fired in
a kiln (Hence the name, "Totally Fired Designs"). I hope you enjoy my creations as much as I
love making them.
